Sweet friends, Landre and Sara Kennedy

After my 5K I ran in the Fun Run with Sara Kennedy. She ran almost the whole way- she had to stop a few times and walk a minute. I was soooo proud of her. She didn't complain at all. She worked so hard and......
SHE WON FIRST PLACE IN HER AGE GROUP! We were so excited for her. Pepaw and Memaw came to cheer her on!

Sesame Street Live

Cooper's Mother's Morning Out class went to see Sesame Street Live. It was fun~ he was such a sweet boy and he loved all the songs. Big Bird and his friends
Mommy and her baby

Look how big he's getting. He LOVES to stay for Lunch Bunch at school~ he'd stay everyday if I'd let him. Look at his little lunch box beside his feet. He's growing up way too fast!

Did He Really Do That??

At Canton Academy they have a Pumpkin decorating contest in the Fall. The kids are asked to decorate pumpkins and they're all displayed in the lobby. I figured I wouldn't mention it and I'd just wait until next year. Last week I picked SK up and she asked if we could decorate a pumpkin~ I said sure so we made the trek to Wal-Mart for a pumpkin and supplies. She decided she wanted to make a butterfly. So, while Cooper was napping we went outside and painted the pumpkin. After Coop's nap we were CRAZY GLUING sequins on the pumpkin for eyes. SOMEHOW, Cooper picked up a sequin with glue on it and stuck it on his leg. It wouldn't budge! I thought~ I can't pull it or it will rip the skin off. So, I called Dr. Smith's office- while I was waiting for the call back I put him in the tub and poured finger nail polish remover on it. Thank the Lord it came off. When Dr. Smith's nurse called back she said, "I have to admit Dr. Smith and I had a good laugh over this one." Glad we made someone laugh :)

3 Little Monkeys Sleeping in a Bed & The Fair (sort of)

We kept Landre (5 yrs.) and Mary Brenton (3 yrs.) for 2 nights while Wendy was in Dallas taking care of her sweet mom (Get well soon Georgia!) I thought I'd never get these 3 wild things to go to bed the first night. I had them sleep in the guest bedroom so they were right across the hall from us. I know I went in there and shushed them 30 times. They finally went to sleep at 11! And they had school the next morning. We did much better on night 2~ they were in bed asleep bu 8:30! You should have seen Will taking 3 princesses to school those mornings, hilarious! They are conked out in this pic (SK reverted back to a thumbsucker at night~ we had to break out the thumb medicine, AGAIN!) On a different note, another day we took Landre with us to the Fair~ I took a million pictures, got back to the car and realized I had no memory card in my camera- I hate it when that happens! Oh well, we have the memories!

Wedding Pics and Brunch

SK was a flower girl (there were 2 othes, a 2 year old and a 5 year old). Cooper was the ring bearer. The wedding was outside and they asked me to stand with the kids to make sure they made it to where they were supposed to go. SK and Caelyn (5 yrs.) did beautifully. Then, it was time for the two 2 year olds. Fast as lightening- they swapped what they were carrying. Cooper suddenly had the flower girl basket and Carley had the ring bearer pillow. I thought to myself: There is NO way I'm taking these from these 2, they will throw a fit right here in front of God and everybody. They looked so cute walking with the wrong thing. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of the beautiful bride and handsome groom. (I was a little busy chasing toddlers :) Nana with the kids (Sharea made his precious Jon Jon, it had his initials on it and he looked so handsome in it, thanks Sharea!)
Cooper with the flower girl basket, Will almost stroked when he saw him (check out how he's standing)

Left off a pic from the Brunch, my sweet mom and me! Lord, I love this woman!

On Sept. 20th my sweet cousin, Dedra got married at the Crawford House in Hattiesburg to an incredible guy, Eric. We had a jam packed weekend back and forth from Magee to Hattiesburg, but it was so much fun to be part of their big day. Friday morning my Aunt Michele, cousin Rebecca, mom and I hosted a Brunch for the Bridesmaids at Lovie's in Hattiesburg. The food was delicious and we had a blast! Michele and Rebecca
