Big Girl Haircut

SK has been wanting her hair cut short. I bargained with her and told her after her ballet recital she could get it cut. We went to Mrs. Wendy's today and she got it cut off! It is so cute and she loves it too. She looks like a big girl. Wendy couldn't get over how wavy it was underneath- she had to straighten it 3 times. She thinks her hair may turn curly. I might get my curly headed child after all. Coop even has a little wave in the back ( I think it's a cow lick :).

The Beach '08

We just got back from a week in Destin. Terry, Jean Elaine and Zan were there too and we all stayed at the same place (The Aegean). We had so much fun! The kids loved the beach~ it was by far our best vacation as a foursome yet. We got 2 hermit crabs the 2nd day we were there and prepared SK they probably wouldn't live until the end of the week. Boy, was I wrong- they are still alive and kickin'. We ATTEMPTED to get a family picture on the beach. I included some of them just for kicks. Terry took some with his camera- so hopefully he got some better ones. Can't wait until next year.

Happy Birthday Mom

Happy Birthday to My Sweet Mom (Nana). I was blessed with the greatest Mom~ not only is she a great Mom and Nana, she's my friend! I depend on her in so many ways and she's never let me down. I hope as Sara Kennedy grows into a young woman, we're as close as my mom and I are. I hope you have a great day!

Monster Barbie Jeep

Cooper loves to sneak into SK's barbie jeep. We don't normally let him drive it because it goes alot faster than his tractor and he can't handle all that "power ;)". Well, today he snuck in it and literally ramped a pile of bricks and got the barbie jeep stuck on top. He was so proud of himself!

Swim Lessons with Lu Lee

We just finished our two week swim lessons with the infamous, Lu Lee. Lu is in her 70s and is still teaching kids how to swim! SK did AWESOME! She is a little fish. Cooper didn't do too bad- since it was his first time. He learned how to hold his breath after the first night, BUT he did cry most of the time Lu worked with him. Yes, Cooper is wearing ONLY a swim diaper in this picture. While Lu was working with SK- I let Coop get out of the pool to sit with Will while he was filming. Cooper took his swim trunks off and got a towel. He was done! He was so funny~ here are some of Coop's quotes to Lu:
1~ I oant (want) you to go home Lu Lee
2~ I oant chicken nuggets (I told him before the lesson we would go to Chik-Fil-A if he did good)
3~ Lu asked, "Where do you go if someone pushes you in?" She wanted him to say: to the side. He pointed his finger toward the bottom of the pool and said, "DOWN!"
