Good Friends & Good Popsicles

Sara Kennedy's sweet friend, Landre came over to play today. They are clowns when they're together! After having popsicles they insisted on having their picture taken. How fun to look back when they're in high school and see this picture!

The Beach with Nana

The kids and I just came back from Gulf Shores with my mom, my cousin Rebecca, her little boy Jon David and her mom, Dorothy. We had so much fun! Sara Kennedy and Jon David loved the baby pool at the condo more than the beach. It had little fountains all over it, they called it the "shoot up baby pool." Cooper was so good- he had the best time. On the last night our moms kept the kids so Rebecca and I could go to dinner alone. What a treat! Check out the last picture and you can see Cooper tugging on my shirt. That's a familiar stance for him these days :) We decided this has to become a tradition- can't wait until next year for the 2nd Annual Mom, Daughter, and Grands trip! What a blessing to have such a sweet family!

Chuck E. Cheese

Will has been off a few days this week and we have had so much fun. Before we had kids he would have spent this time playing golf and hanging out with me. BUT, he was so sweet to plan each day with fun stuff. Wednesday we went to Rapids (wanted to go to Geyser Falls- but were a little scared it might rain), Thursday he worked in the yard ALL day and let the kids "help" some, and Friday he took us to Chuck E. Cheese. Not once did he complain about wanting any "me" time. He is such a sweet daddy and Sara Kennedy and Cooper absolutely adore him. Cooper has started wanting to be wherever his daddy is. I hope they know how blessed they are to have such an awesome dad! We're gonna miss him when he has to go back to work Monday!

"SEW" much fun

My good friend, Tammy and her little girl, Kate came over today. Tammy was sweet enough to bring her sewing machine to give me some pointers on joining the sewing world. Needless to say, I think I need a few more lessons before I purchase a machine. I always enjoy visiting with her and the kids had so much fun. Kate and Cooper kept playing peek a boo through the easel. Sara Kennedy was so sweet to both of them. She tried to keep them busy for us.

Good Friends

Sara Kennedy had so much fun playing with Jett and Mason today. She coordinated their outfits. She just loves when we spend time with our play group. I'm so grateful she has such sweet little friends in her life. We enjoyed having our new friend, Ashley and Harrison and Olivia too.

A Lazy Sunday Afternoon

We decided it was way too hot and humid for any outdoor activities today, so we played in the playroom. Cooper loved playing with his trucks and wrestling with his Daddy. Sara Kennedy played babysitter with me- notice Cooper peeking through the window of the tent in the last picture. It's hard to believe one day Will and I will be sitting here all alone on Sunday afternoons. Cherish the moments!

3 Monkeys Eating Watermelon

Last week, our cousin Jon David spent the afternoon with us. My mom was here too and had been playing beauty shop with the kids. Note the foil in Jon David's hair- Sara Kennedy had velcro rollers in hers. Nana was telling them about highlights. They had a blast!

We're blogging! OK- my friend Emily did an awesome blog page, then Sharea, then Jennifer. I already feel left out when Jen and Sharea talk about their sewing adventures- so I figured I had to give this a go :-) No really, this is a great way for our out of town family (i.e. Aunt Amy and Uncle Michael) to keep up with our growing kiddos. I can't believe how fast their growing and changing. Hopefully, this will keep everyone updated- stay tuned!
