Marley Dog

Sweet Marley Dog has accepted her fate. She belongs to a family with a 2 and 5 year old. She has no choice but to be the baby dog and ride in the babydoll stroller. This is how the kids spent some of their morning- Marley slept through it. Notice their is a "stuffed dog" in the front. What a sweet pup! post signature

Friday with Friends

Tammy, Emily, and Sharea came over this morning and we let the kids play on the slip n slide. Actually, they just played in the dirt and the yard got a good watering from the slip n slide. Nevertheless, we had fun visiting with our friends. There were 6 kids under the age of 5 here~ it was wild :)Stone playing in the dirt

Our New Puppy

Well, SK did it! She finally stopped sucking her thumb! The deal was~ she could get a puppy when she did. I really thought the child might go to college sucking her thumb. Will and I went to MARL (MS Animal Rescue League) on Saturday by ourselves to see what they had. I started crying when we walked in the door- I wanted to take them all. It is such a fabulous organization. The facility is beautiful and clean. We found a shep/hound mix we thought we wanted. So, Sunday we took the kids. The shep/hound was too hyper and big. The kids and I sat in the "play room" while Will brought different puppies in for us to "try out." We kept saying we wouldn't get a lab bc they're so hyper and love to chew. Guess what we ended up getting: Meet our lab, Marley
Coop and SK waiting to see what puppy Daddy will bring next. Notice, Cooper holding the leash~ but he is not crazy about dogs. Marlee is growing on him though.

Tupelo Visit

Sweet Haley sat with Cooper and made sure the big kids let him have a turn.

We had a fun visit to Tupelo last week to visit my BFF :), Kim and her family. We had a great time~ but the visit was too short. I wish they were closer. Hudson and Sara Kennedy played on the trampoline most of the time we were there and Haley was so sweet to put up with all of them aggravating her! God has blessed me with Kim's friendship!

WooHoo~ We got a new camera

We got a new camera and I am really enjoying it! Now, I just have to figure out how to operate it. Mom spent 4 days with us last week and we had such a great visit! I had mom and SK pose as my subjects~ more pictures to come when I figure out how to save them after I've edited them. Pretty girl!

4th of July Finale

We had a super fun time at the Canton Balloon Fest Saturday night. We got there at 5:30 and stayed until about 9:40. We actually watched the fireworks from our car- the natives were getting restless. We had so much fun visiting with some of our friends~ we took up a big part of the field. There were kids everywhere! My little firecrackers!

More 4th Fun~ Lampkin Family Cookout

Memaw and Pepaw held their annual Fourth of July cookout at Lake Caroline. We had great food (enough to feed a small army :) and then Pepaw took us out on his Pontoon Boat to watch the Caroline fireworks~ which were AWESOME! (I forgot to take my camera on the boat :( Memaw bought SK, Coop, and Anderson all kinds of 4th of July goodies- pinwheels, necklaces, etc. they had a blast! Cousin Anderson and Cooper

Will got contacts recently and his friend at the eye doctor "hooked" him up with all kinds of crazy glasses for eye protection. These are his favorites. Yes, they have lights on the sides! He was Pepaw's lights on the boat- which worked out good, except he blinded the rest of us!
Us in our 4th of July clothes- we wore red, white, and blue all weekend. Good thing we only had 3 days, we were running out of festive colors!
