Sara Kennedy is such a girly, girl. She has really grown so much the past year. She LOVES flowers~ any kind, real or artificial. At Wal~Mart, she asks for silk flowers. She helps me make arrangements to put on Papaw's tombstone. So, when we're outside she HAS to pick flowers. She can spot them from a mile away. The lovely bouquet above was her latest arrangement (yesterday afternoon). She's learning so much at school and says the funniest things. Here are just a few of the things she's said in the past week alone.
1) Mommy, I look so cute today~ Mrs. Anna Brown is probably going to kick me out of class. She's gonna say, Sara Kennedy you have to leave. You look so cute, I can't even teach! (no kidding, she really said it!)
2) When I stay @ school all day~ I see Kate in the cafeteria (Kate goes to our church and is in 4th gr. SK LOVES her) not baby Kate (my friend Tammy's little girl) the "kind" of Kate that has white hair and is a big girl (she has blonde hair)
3) Today she wanted to stay @ school until 3:00 (I usually pick her up @ 12 and let her stay til 3 on Fridays for the pep rally) She said some kids stay @ school until 3 even when there isn't a pep rally. I told her their mommys probably work and need them to stay @ school until 3. She said, why don't you get a job that's NOT me. (I tell her my job is to stay home and take care of our house and her and Cooper) Wonder how many times I'll hear that before she's 18?
Thank you God for trusting us with this sweet, little life. She's such a special little girl. I know she'll grow up to do great things!

Girl's Trip

When Will and I got married 7 years ago, I moved here only knowing the people I'd met through him. Now, these people are so dear to me (even the ones I only see a couple of times a year) and some are like sisters. What a blessing to have so many sweet friends to share my life with. Over the weekend we took our Sixth annual Girl's Trip to Orange Beach. (We missed you Mari Beth). We left Thursday, seven women in a Suburban~ we couldn't have put another thing in there. All of these girls graduated from Canton Academy together (except Kelley & Stacey who also graduated from CA, but a little later ~ as we like to joke). They've all emabraced me with open arms to let me join in on all the fun :) Thanks to all the sweet husbands (and my sweet mother in law) for helping out with the kids while we were gone. We had lots of good food, too much wine and way too many laughs. These trips are always so much fun and I look forward to many, many more!

Jean Elaine, Kelley and Dees (pregnant with her first baby, a sweet baby boy)
(Me, Dakin (lives in Houston), Noel, and Stacey
(Dees being silly~ she is one of the funniest people I know~ her alias is Sissy Peters, but she only comes out after some drinks, we missed Sissy this year too!)
(After a yummy dinner the last night)

Look What Cooper can do!

Look what I found Cooper doing today. I was in our room packing for my girl's trip and I called his name and he didn't come. I found him in the half bath (with the door closed). He wouldn't say anything when I called his name, I could just see his little feet running back and forth behind the door. I opened the door and he had the biggest grin on his face. He had pulled off the entire roll of toilet paper and stuffed it in the toilet. I had to take it all out before Will got home~ I knew I'd be in trouble too :) Doesn't he look proud of himself?? Wow- I love this little man!
