~I AM THANKFUL~

Just a few of the things I am truly Thankful for this Thanksgiving:
1) Jesus Christ, my Saviour
2) Will, Sara Kennedy, and Cooper
3) Our family (ie Mom, Janis and Larry)
4) Wonderful Friends
5) Our home
6) I can stay at home (even though SK told me Monday, while I WAS SWEEPING: "Mama, you should get a job so we could get more money and I could get more stuff"~ I really had to restrain myself
7) Our church
8) SK's school~ she can go to a school that allows prayer and can talk about the true meaning of Christmas
9) Our country and our soldiers who sacrifice so much on our behalf
As the holidays approach, may we all remember what we are truly thankful for and remember to celebrate family and friends. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Chief White Eyes

Cooper had a little play at Mother's Morning Out for Thanksgiving. He was Chief White Eyes. We don't have any pictures of him during the program because he was turned around dancing most of the time! Precious! SK entertained herself by taking pics before it started.

Happy 3rd Birthday Cooper

I can't believe it's been 3 years since Cooper was born. He was the best baby ever! He only kept us up one night when he was a newborn. He fills our days with joy and laughter. I can't imagine our lives without our Cooper man. Happy Birthday big guy. We love you! One of his favorite places, the park.
Cooper joins our family.

One Sweet Daddy

For those of you who are married to deer huners~ you know today was opening day for Youth weekend. Will has been planning for weeks to take the kids. I honestly didn't know if he'd be able to "handle" it~ I mean, 2 kids under the age of 5 at Deer Camp with limited entertainment doesn't sound like much fun to me. Boy did he prove me wrong. I'm not sure who was more excited, Will or the kids. Will and I went to the grocery store yesterday for "camp food." He loaded up on canned items high in sodium and graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate for Smores. SK woke up at 6:20 this morning ready to go. They left around 9:30. I thought to myself when they left~ they'll be home by noon. I went with Jean Elaine and Rebecca for a mani/pedi. Then, JE and I had lunch and did some shopping (we missed you Beck). I got home around 3:30 and just talked to Will. It is 5:30 and they are STILL at deer camp. Pepaw bought a camper for deer camp so they have somewhere nice and clean to go when they get tired. Will said they just made Smores and would be home later. I miss them! I'm bored and ready for them to come home :) What a sweet Daddy to take them and what sweet memories they'll have of their deer camp days with Daddy. PS~ there were no guns involved (thanks to Aunt Amy and Uncle Michael's bday present for Coop- TWO Laser Blaster guns (that are really loud) have been their chosen weapons. I'm sure they'll scare plenty of deer away!Ready to go- check out SK's hunter's orange bow. I have a feeling she won't be tagging along to deer camp too many more years :)

Cooper's 3rd Bday Party

I can't believe our baby boy will be 3 on Monday. Where has the time gone? We had his party this past Thurs. afternoon and he had so much fun. Thanks to all of our sweet friends and family who came to help us celebrate our Little Man turning 3! Click on the Pictures for a larger view. Disclaimer: I do realize Cooper is wearing an Ole Miss football helmet. I figure his Daddy is a much bigger football fan than I am~ so, he gets to wear his Daddy's alma mater when it comes to football uniforms. I do love my Golden Eagles though!
