We had SK's class over for their Easter Egg hunt today. The kids had so much fun and the weather was perfect!! Will even got to come home for a while and got in on a little trampoline action with them ~ be sure to click on the collage for a better look!
Stone had a fun, fishing birthday party at Pa Jay and Bitsy's lake. SK caught a fish~ Coop just liked casting his reel. What a beautiful day for a party. Happy Birthday Stone!
We had a great time at the St. Paddy's Day parade with Terry, JE and Zan. We ran into Steph, Tony and the girls. The kids had a ball. SK caught so many beads- after the parade we went to Cool Al's (Stamps) for an awesome burger, came home for a little while, and headed to Stone's bday party. We had a BUSY, fun Saturday!
Last Friday was grandparent's day! Our kids are so blessed to have the BEST grandparents in the world! Will's parents, Memaw and Pepaw and my mom, Nana (and my sweet daddy, Pawpaw). They also have some wonderful great grandparents, Granny and Pawpaw Henry! Memaw, Pepaw, and Nana came to Grandparent's Day and SK LOVED showing them off.
Sara Kennedy made a "shield" at her art lesson today. They talked about Ireland and she told me she wanted to put a cross on her's for Jesus. On the way home, she and Cooper were discussing their intent for the shield. Here's how the conversation went:
SKL: Cooper, when we get home do you want to be the King or the Dragon
CJL: The mean farmer
SKL: You CAN NOT be a mean farmer, they don't use shields
CJL: MOMMY!
well, you get the picture! Anyway, I loved her art from today's lesson and so did she.
We had dinner at Sal and Phil's last night for Will's Papaw Henry's 83rd birthday. He loves oysters! We had fun visiting with everybody. Wishing Papaw Henry many more happy birthdays!!
We went to a tea party at Starr's house this morning for her 5th birthday. All the girls dressed up and had tea, cake and ice cream. They had such a fun time! Happy Birthday Starr!
